About the Event

Experience the magic of the autumn season with your friends and loved ones. Bask in the crisp fall air as you explore the historic site. About the Location

Located on the former estate of Nelson Dewey, Wisconsin’s first governor, Stonefield explores Wisconsin at the beginning of the 20th century when innovative ideas and advances in technology helped the state transform into “America’s Dairyland” and an agricultural superpower. The site includes Dewey’s home site, the Stonefield Village, the State Agricultural Museum, and a 1901 Progressive Farmhouse. Together, these buildings help tell the story of the history of how Wisconsin transitioned from a society powered by manual labor and horses into one powered by machines.
